Much better in simpler form (see for comparison 7.220 Combination Pizza), and as a whole pie, especially when shared with others (see for comparison 7.120 Six Slices), especially when they’re family.
Oh man… now THAT is a pizza. It looks like each slice is heavily coated with melted, hot cheese. I hate when pizzas are lacking cheese. There’s the right amount of grease on this pie.
i’m inclined to agree about cheese on american-style pizza, but i should point out that “original” napoli-style pizzas come with little dollops of cheese (see for example http://project365ki.blogspot.com/2011/06/pizza-doc.html), so the crust, sauce, and other toppings stand a fair chance…
