Home for the Holidays, Day 5 (see previously 7.354 LA Galbi).

In Seoul.  Winter break. Going back to Manila on the 31st — can hardly wait.

This time, by request.
Yeah, no, the plate made for a nice visual but didn’t actually work as a plate for this kind of food.

The ribs and kimchi were almost as good as I remember.

Earlier in the day, skiing at Oak Valley, just a 20-min drive from the cabin.
Recalling his first time on the slopes (see 3.040 Chicken Kebab).

  1. Oak Valley? Our family owns a suite there and my parents go all the time, to golf usually. I personally haven’t been for a while, but I know my dad was there just the last 2 days for golfing! Haha! Wonder if you have ever crossed paths with someone in my family in Seoul or Oak Valley!

    1. having encountered the most random of people that i know in the most unexpected places, i am now never surprised. i’m absolutely sure that i’ve crossed paths with someone in your family, maybe even you.
