Hamo is a Korean restaurant.  Recently received a Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide.

We were thoroughly underwhelmed.  The food itself was clean and competent, if unremarkable.  The plating was cutesy, if unimaginative.  The japchae here wasn’t the standard noodle-based japchae, but rather japchae in the literal sense of assorted (jap) vegetables (chae), served in a neat little pile.

If this is what earns a Michelin accolade, I don’t want anything to do with it.
