Bistro Ryu Salad
2.0
at Bistro Ryu
-Seongsu, Seongdong, Seoul, Republic of Korea-
with HSK
Still knee-deep in fulfilling orders from our virtual warehouse sale (see most recently 11.291 Big Mac), I welcomed the opportunity to step outside for a quick meal with someone other than co-workers.

Various observations about the menu:
1. Is it a bistro or a French Dining Pub? And what is a French Dining Pub?
2. Soju, really?
3. Jasmine rice, really? (No, not really – the rice that we got was not in fact jasmine. )
4. The lunch menu features 5 dishes, none of which seem particularly French.
5. What’s with all the hashtags?

6. “Lamb rack Steak” is an oxymoron.
7. They couldn’t find a better flag of France, at least something that didn’t have a white background?
8. All items come with baguette, not only the Beef Stew and Coq au Vin.
9. What the Fuck With all the Random capitalizatioN?!?!

Bistro Ryu is a French restaurant, at least in name.

The food was vaguely European, not French, more Italian than anything, very amateur in execution, but forgivably okayish.
