Color Foods is a line of packaged nuts and dried fruits from producer Achim. 4 varieties, each with a different combination, color theme based loosely on the components. Comes in one-a-day single serving portions.

Nice concept, but the execution falls somewhat flat. The nuts are all kinda bland, and don’t work that well together. Every combo contains one small, granular component – coconut shavings (white), roasted oats (yellow), black soybeans (purple), pumpkin seeds (green), lentil flakes (red) – that’s sorta dry/crumbly, difficult to eat with fingers, generally annoying. Anyway.
I had purchased a few packs for home, but nobody liked them, so I brought the rest to work, in case an occasion should arise.

Occasion rises: at the end of work, I called for an impromptu TGIF gin & tonic party. Occasion falls flat: 6 people showed up, including W, who had to drive me home.
