Two Rabbit is an Italian restaurant. Offers pastas and pizzas and other popular standards. Looks to be independently owned/operated.
A search on Naver returned numerous types of random and entirely unrelated businesses named “Two Rabbit”: coffee shop, interior design agency, pilates studio (only one to properly spell “Two Rabbits”), DIY leather studio, art academy, English academy (“Two Rabbit”), cosmetics company, residence hotel, and this restaurant.
Digging a bit deeper, I found that K-Pop duo MAMAMOO+ released an EP last year entitled “Two Rabbits.”
As far as I’m aware, “two rabbit(s)” isn’t a thing in Anglo-American culture – if I haven’t heard of it by now, it’s not a thing.
I asked W, thinking it must be something from Korean folklore (like the tortoise and the hare), but her response was a perplexed “Two what??”
The fish & chips was okayish. The cod was competently deep-fried, and nicely seasoned, but cut into overly thin strips that made each bite more about the breading than the fish. And they were sprinkled with microplaned cheese – harmless but indicative of inauthenticity. Just to prove the point, I asked for vinegar, and the manager had no idea what I was talking about.
And yes, we did order other stuff from the main Italian parts of the menu – same deal: well-meaning but amateaur.
