In collaboration with YP Books, we’re holding a pop-up sale at Starfield City Wirye, the shopping mall within walking distance of home.

YP Books, one of our wholesale customers, has a brick-and mortar store in the mall.

Bi wa Byeol Dak Galbi is a Korean restaurant.  Specializes in dak galbi and mak guksu.  The name means “rain (bi) and (wa) star (byeol).”  Part of a franchise chain, currently with 15 locations, mostly in shopping malls.

First time trying out a stroller for Louis, which allows him to accompany us inside the mall, but we were disappointed to learn that access is restricted inside restaurants, which I actually agree with.

After checking out the pop-up, we headed upstairs for dinner.  The venue was chosen simply because it was the only place where we could park Louis within visible distance.

Oddly, the set is called “Mak Guksu Set,” when it comes with only 1 bowl of mak guksu plus 2 portions of dak galbi, which is clearly the main attraction, and the restaurant’s namesake.

The dak galbi was soulless, as a franchise rendition would be.

The mak guksu was decent.
