Partnered with The Korea Times to support book sales at the 56th Modern Korean Literature Translation Award ceremony.

The event featured a book talk for To the Moon with author Jang Ryujin and translator Sean Lin Halbert (though they had nothing to do with the awards).
Beyond sales, our presence was more to promote the upcoming WOW (Welcome to Our Warehouse) event.

TB dropped by.

Afterwards, I drove him home.

He bought a couple rounds of beer and chicken at a place across the street from his place.

Wasn’t until we were done did I realize that this would constitute dinner.

Funny that fried chicken in Korea is called “Kentucky” (see for example 3.093 Kentucky), or “chi-kin” (see for example 10.135 Chi-Kin), or “hoo-ra-i-deu (fried).
