Another making-it-up-as-I-go improvisation (see previously 17.043 Clams in Salted Soybean Sauce), this one a complete fail.  The “bbq sauce” was bitter and overly sweet without any depth.  The meat was overcooked and dry.  The creamy jalapeño dipping sauce helped a bit on both fronts, but not enough.
