Grilled Miso Pork Bellies

Tried marinating the pork bellies in doenjang, thinking about various miso-glazed applications that seem to be the rage these days.  Maybe because doenjang is inherently richer than miso and/or maybe because grilling – as opposed to day, steaming or baking – further intensifies flavors, but the meat turned out inexorably salty.
