Mission to Korea + Personal Deviation, Day 1.

In Seoul.  Arrived this evening.  Here to attend a planning meeting tomorrow for an upcoming event of the parliamentarian forum that had brought me to Seoul for work last July (see generally 6.178 Sliders).  Spending the weekend at home.  Flying back to Manila on Sunday.

The planning meeting will be held on the sidelines of a bigger conference on universal health coverage, which is being attended by the key players in the otherwise unrelated parliamentarian forum.

A full buffet spread was available out in the main hall, but I stayed in my seat and picked at the appetizers on the table in front me.  They were okay, though a bit dried out by that point.

By the time that we got in from the airport and went straight to the venue of the welcome dinner for the UHC conference, the post-dinner speeches were well underway.
