Locavore is Filipino restaurant. Currently 5 locations in Manila. Traditional menu, sorta modernized.
The gising gising, for example, featured full-length beans, lightly cooked to a nice al dente, plus additional vegetables, all in a shallot and garlic “confit,” to make for a fresher, more wholesome experience – though I’m not sure that’s what the dish is meant to be.
