Mul Naeng Myeon
3.0
at Woomil Myeonok
-Seocho, Seocho, Seoul, Republic of Korea-
solo
Woomil Myeonok is a Korean restaurant chain. Specializes in northern fare, including Pyongyang-style mul naeng myeon.

In the neighborhood for a court hearing on our never-ending lawsuit. While W was appearing for our side, I was driving around to kill time (parking is nearly impossible), when I came across the restaurant, which I’d never heard of.

Applying the rating rubric used in my Seoul-Searching project (see SSPYSP):
TOPPINGS: Sliced beef shank + pork belly + egg + scallion. I can’t recall experiencing an MNM that didn’t have pickled radish.
BROTH: Good beef flavor.
NOODLES: Nicely al dente. Mild buckwheat flavor.
CONCLUSION: A respectable representation of modern Pyongyang-style MNM.
