Massaman Curry is a Thai dish.  Coconut milk seasoned with a blend of traditional Thai aromatics (e.g., lemongrass, galangal) and Indian/Arabic spices (e.g., cloves, cumin), usually a bit spicy, likely influenced by Malay cuisine from the south, thus regarded as something of a “fusion” dish in origin, even though it has long been a Thai staple.  The term derives from an archaic Persian word for “Muslim.”   In 2011, and again in 2018, CNN (in)famously ranked massaman curry as the number one delicious food in the world, which raised lots of eyebrows, including in Thailand.

Pad See Ew (2.0): made with flour noodles, which is sometimes the case in Thailand, even though the dish is more commonly made with rice noodles in Thai restaurants around the world.

The massanan was kinda meh.  The skin-on chicken was unpleasant to eat.  The sauce was oily.  But the potatoes were okay when eaten with rice.  Won’t be getting this again.
