Sotddukkkong Barbecue Tongdak is a Korean pub.  Offers a so-called “American-style” barbecue chicken, and a handful of other Korean anju dishes.  Part of a chain that currently comprises 7 restaurants.

The chickens were pre-cooked, laid out for display in the window, then reheated upon order, in a what appeared to be a modern convection oven, nothing to do with a traditional sot ddukkong (the lid of a cast iron cauldron).  For some reason, the reheating took over 10 minutes.

Not.  Juicy meat in the thighs but dry everywhere else.  The flavor was odd, kinda smoky and spicy but otherwise flavorless, certainly no resemblance to American barbecue.  I ate less than half.

First and last visit.
