The Ultimate Fried Egg Bagel Sandwich

A few months back, I claimed to have perfected the fried egg bagel sandwich (see 14.163 Toasted Bagel Sandwich with Fried Egg & Tomato … plus Cheese!).  But I was wrong, because there’s room for one more improvement – sauerkraut, which provides a touch of brightness/sharpness against the rounder flavors – so now it’s perfect.

Extending the jazz analogy, the bagel is the drum, the cheese is the bass, the tomato is the piano, the egg is the trumpet, and the saurkraut is the female vocalist.
