Whereas “American Hotdogs” made in Korea don’t taste American – they taste Korean – “Polish Sausages” made in America (probably) don’t taste Polish – they taste American. Thus, American-made Polish Sausages, which can be found in Korea, work well to create authentic American hotdogs.

“Kielbasa” made in Korea also don’t taste Polish – they taste Korean (see generally 12.209 Deconstructed Polish Boys), but better than “American Hotdogs.”
