Joy, team leader of our sales team, got married today.

I’m told that guests can be served their meals in the main wedding hall, for a premium, which is why the space includes round tables, just in case.

This was the second staff wedding that I’ve attended since joining the company (see previously 13.038 Janchi Guksu).

First ceremony of the day, so we were the first party to eat.

After applauding the newly married couple as they walked back down the aisle, most of us ditched the group photo bit and went to the dining hall for an early lunch.

It seemed the least popular station.

Among the various stations, I was impressed to find a section dedicated solely to fancy Korean vegetables.  Traditional, yet very unusual, both in composition and preparation, like stuff one might imagine finding in a buddhist monastery catering to tourists high in the mountains.

I didn’t actually enjoy the vegetables – though I could imagine how an adventurous vegan would’ve loved them – but appreciated the photo op.

To make the illusion complete, I also went with the healthier rice option.
