Sami Banjeom is a Korean-Chinese restaurant.  Even by Korean-Chinese restaurant standards, the menu is extremely limited, offering only jjajang myeon, jjambbong, fried rice, and a handful of other dishes.  Part of a franchise chain, currently with 10 locations.

Located in the Wirye Sunhwan-ro 4-gil plaza, next door to Cheonnyeon Galbi (see generally 11.315 So Yangnyeom Galbi).
The “self bar” includes additional types of banchan, plus free rice.
The initial service comes with the classic banchan: danmuji (pickled radish) + raw onions and chunjang (fermented black bean paste).

The jjajang myeon wasn’t that great.  The sauce was too sweet and mushy, probably made in one big batch in the morning and served all day.  The noodles were fine.  For some reason, it comes with a deep-fried shrimp.  Okay for a quick snack.

Additional banchan: ggakdugi + zhacai.

The only other instance that I can recall seeing self-service free rice was at another Korean-Chinese franchise chain (see 12.128 Hella Zzamzza), making me wonder if they do it to add value to what is otherwise mediocre food.
