For the first time ever, rather than free-styling lasagna (based loosely on my mother’s method, learned decades ago), I tried a recipe.  Specifically, the recipe for the “World’s Best Lasagna,” as featured on allrecipes.com, with 20,500 reviews, averaging 4.8/5.0 – supposedly “the highest ranking and most reviewed lasagna recipe on the entire internet.”

In lieu of a 9×13 baking dish, I used my roasting pan (similar dimensions).

I don’t get it.  The flavors were fine, very Italian-American, but not particularly remarkable, certainly not enough to be so famous.  Too much sauce, making it fall apart coming out of the pan, leaving a wet mess on the plate.  We ended up finishing less than half, leaving enough leftovers for 2 more meals (ugh).
