Though I hadn’t been fully impressed upon our first visit to this place (see most recently 15.252 Nero di Arancini Friti), this second visit was more satisfying. Perhaps because we ordered simpler dishes.
Another pet peeve: different types/sizes of shrimp in the same dish – here, a single fresh shrimp (head included) [left] + several from-frozen shrimp, clearly indicated by the white exterior [right].In fact, La Bussola might be the best Italian restaurant in Wirye. Which isn’t saying that much, in a district with only 8 restaurants that could reasonably be considered “Italian,” as far as I’m aware, not counting pizza delivery chains or cafés that might feature a pasta dish on the menu. I am thus inspired to explore the others.
