Spaghetti alle Vongole

A quick search suggests that vongole pasta dishes by me have been featured, prior to this post, on 10 occasions in GMTD history. From the very first, it was declared “my favorite pasta dish of all time” (see 1.069 Spaghetti alle Vongole). Oddly, Cycle 1 included 5 posts with the dish, 1 post in Cycle 2, then nothing until 2 posts in Cycle 11, then 1 post in Cycle 12, 1 post in Cycle 13, then nothing again until tonight.
Incidentally, pasta dishes made with canned clams, typically referred to as “clam sauce” have been featured in 23 posts to date (see most recently 15.197 Spaghetti in Tomato-Clam Sauce), which isn’t to say that I prefer canned clams – it remains IZ’s all-time favorite dish – just that they’re more convenient.
