Pro Ganjang Gejang is a Korean restaurant.  Specializes in ganjang gejang.  The original location in Sinsa has been around for decades, currently with branches in Samseong and Incheon.

Located 287 m from Coex Mall.

Dinner again with Number One Fan LJY (see most recently 15.302 Grilled Eel).

The most systematically displayed wall of fame that I’ve ever seen: autographed sheets, originally on A4, photocopied down to size, plus a thumbnail portrait cropped into the bottom corner, then framed.
The only face that I recognize is Rye Hyun Jin (4th row from the bottom, 1st on the right).

The food was excellent.  Although personally not a fan, I’ve come to accept the family consensus that my aunt’s ganjang gejang is the best in the world (see most recently 13.268 Ganjang Gejang), and so any other rendition is inferior by default (see for example 13.048 Okdom Gui) – however, objectively speaking, this one might beat it: the soy seasoning was very delicately applied, allowing the natural sweetness of the crab, immaculately fresh, to shine through; as the photo would suggest, the eggs were absurdly plump and juicy.  Everything on the table exhibited expert execution.  Reputation well deserved.

Okdom Gui (4.0): so good that I ate the fins and most of the head.
