Further exploration of the new banchan corner at The J Mart, this time with the bibimbap set (rice and egg not included).

Not a bad deal at 5,450 won per person (10,900 won for 2 portions).

I was sufficiently impressed.  Though nothing fancy, each component was expertly crafted, contributing a distinct yet harmonious taste and texture.  Traditional bibimbap with such basic ingredients cannot get much better than this.

Topped with a fried egg and served with kimchi kongnamul guk, as well as dubu jorim – all by me.
