Try Every Italianish Eatery in Wirye (TEIEW)

For IZ’s birthday party this year (see previously 15.093 Birthday Bolognese), he just wanted a low-key dinner at an Italian restaurant with his closest circle of friends.

When ordering, I was very impressed by their level of sophistication.  Each knew exactly what he wanted, no hesitation, using the actual Italian terminology: pasta bolognese, pasta alla seppia (a 13-yr-old who enjoys squid ink?), pasta vongole, risotto al mare.  Kids these days.
