A few years ago, I was excited to find local stores offering broccolini, an excellent substitute for my favorite vegetable gailan aka Chinese broccoli (see generally 13.197 Broccolini in Oyster Sauce), but then it disappeared from shelves practically overnight (see most recently 13.211 Sunhuchu Ramyeon with Broccolini & Lettuce).

And now it’s back, at least at E-Mart, at least for the time being.
