Meok is an Italian(ish) restaurant. Limited menu, which appears to change regularly, leans towards grilled seafood and pastas.
The food was okay. While the underlying techniques demonstrated a base level of competency (suggesting that the chef had trained somewhere), the final execution fell short (suggesting that the chef had never worked anywhere): the cabbage was way overdressed and overwhelmed by the (burnt) bacon bits; the chips were too salty and too many (after a quick swallow of the scallops, we just sat there eating chips); and risotto was reasonably tasty but watery (not creamy). The spaghetti with samchi (Spanish mackerel) was nice, though the breadcrumb topping was distracting. I might go back to try a grilled fish, but not in any rush.
