Grilled Pork & Onions with Salsa in Lettuce Cups

Arriving home late this evening and opening the fridge to see what I could throw together for dinner, I discovered a handful of thinly sliced pork shoulder, the white core of an iceberg lettuce head, and an open jar of salsa that probably ought to have been tossed for being well-past its date of expiration (it didn’t taste like it’d gone bad, although it didn’t taste exactly right, either). This was the result. Not bad for a late-night throw-down employing leftovers, but the seasonings were way off, perhaps even off-off.
