Hamburg steak is an American dish.  Consists of ground beef/pork + egg + bread crumbs + milk + onions + seasonings, mashed together, formed into a round patty, pan-fried, served with brown sauce.  Derived from the German dish frikadelle.  Progenitor of the American dish Salisbury steak and the Japanese dish hambagu.  In Korea, hamburg steak was once very common/popular as a type of “Western” food, though these days it’s more of a casual homemade dish, usually for kids.

Another item in Pulmuone’s recently launched line of “Ha1/f Ha2f” tofu-based products.  The package contains 4 small patties, requiring a few minutes of pan-frying, and 2 packets of “onion garlic brown sauce,” requiring a few minutes of heating in warm water or a few seconds in a hot pan.

Overall, it was about as good/bad as a packaged ground tofu-meat patty could be.
