The food this time, much better than before (see most recently 5.292 Lamb Ribs), making me think that the place could have some potential.

I hate to admit–and would never do so to NS (see generally 5.320 How I Managed to Dine with a Vegan), who was at the table, which of course explains the emphasis on vegetable dishes, goddam it–that the vegetable dishes outshone the animal ones, no contest.
