Mission to Korea + Personal Deviation, Day 4 (see previously 6.179 Shrimp Tempura).

In Seoul.  Arrived Wednesday evening.  Came to support a parliamentarian forum on global health, Thursday and Friday.  Spending the weekend at home.  Back to Manila on Monday night.

Chinese food in Korea is ridiculously overpriced, possibly the most expensive in the world — sea cucumber and abalone (L) = 132,000 KRW (about 125 USD).
As far back as I can recall, a bowl of steamed rice in any kind of restaurant across the country has remained priced at a steady 1,000 KRW.

The japtangbap was just okay.

Nevertheless, a low-key dinner of Chinese/Korean delivery at home, with the wife and kids, made me feel like I was actually at home.
