Perhaps a story to be told another day, SM Mega Mall lives up to its name as one of the biggest malls in the world, ranked by various sources to be within the top five.

Other cities/countries where I’ve tried Din Tai Fung (in order of preference) :

Manila PHL (7.184 Xiaolongbao) – best yet
Kuala Lumpur MYS (6.332 Pork Xiao Long Bao) – competent
Taipei TWN (5.110 (Chicken?) Xiaolongbao) – disappointing
Seoul KOR (3.202 Steamed Shrimp & Pork Shaomai) – terrible
