-Old Town, Geneva, Switzerland-
solo
Mission to HQ, Day 3 (see previously 8.047 Sea Saurkraut).
In Geneva. Here to attend a Scoping Meeting on the Ethics of Vector-Borne Diseases – Thu to Fri.
Typical alley in Old Town…
The cannons- i.e., les armures.
Les Armures is a hotel, founded in the 17th century.
The hotel includes a restaurant.
First time trying raclette at the source (see for comparison 7.136 Raclette). Cheese itself was quite nice – salty in flavor, chewy in texture – though otherwise, no categorical difference. In any case, it’s just a piece of roasted cheese.
Earlier in the day, I had Korean at Bap – “bap” = “rice” or “food/meal” – for lunch.
