DP, one of my best friends from high school, we also went to college together, is in town.

He works for Google.

As a perk, Google employees are provided free food at work – breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks.  When traveling, even if not on business, employees can drop by any Google office – their entry badges operate globally – and eat.

Out of curiosity – more about the technical set-up, not the food – he wanted to visit the office in Manila, which happens to be in BGC.  

Late afternoon, a couple hours before dinner time, only a few snacks were available.   Of course, being the Philippines, the snacks involved processed meat.
