Despite appearances – both the ugliness of the fish itself, as well as the seemingly sloppy result of the frying – this was excellent: crispy skin, succulent meat, perfectly seasoned. Though honestly, I didn’t have high hopes, so I’d just taken the single photo, thinking that I’d add it as a supplemental shot and comment snidely about its less-than-appealing appearance.
More respect next time.
