Maru was the first Korean restaurant that I experienced in Malate, much to my strong disappointment (see generally 5.030 Ggot Deungsim (I Doubt It)).   That location, in Robinsons Place, closed soon thereafter.

It has come back from the dead, in a location once occupied by another crappy Korean restaurant Hwaroin (see generally 6.141 Dweji Bulgogi).

The food hasn’t improved.  Not even worth explaining.
