Tobongee is the middle one on the ground floor.

Tobongee is a Korean chain chicken joint.  Specializes in fried chicken and draft beer.

Located in a small commercial building across the street from our apartment complex, Tobongee is the closest eatery to our new home in Wirye.

Rather than a drinking hole, the establishment would appear to be more of a family snack place.

For my first meal in our new home, I got a chicken from Tobongee and ate it on the floor.

I also bought a can of San Miguel Pale Pilsen from the store, which reminded me of our prior home in the Philippines.

I don’t recall seeing 500-ml cans in the Philippines, but this is how beer is sold these days in Korea.

The chicken was not that great.  It was made in the old way, without breading, which I tend to prefer.  However, the meat was overcooked to extreme dryness.  Otherwise, the flavor was fine.  Oh well.
