Ryeogi (려기) is a Korean-Chinese restaurant.

Another one of those commercial buildings filled with hagwons, adjacent to the building featured yesterday (see 11.178 Nalchi Al Jumeokbab).

The chili shrimp wasn’t very good.  The sauce was bland, not spicy/sweet enough.  The coating was all chew, no crisp, and didn’t adhere to the shrimp – after the first few, we started leaving the coatings on the plate and picked at the shrimp within, which were fine.  Not a very auspicious start.

If only the kitchen would put a bit more effort into the dish itself, rather than the absurdly ornate and inedible garnish.
