Sokcho Cheonha Dak Gangjeong (속초 천하 닭강정) is a Korean restaurant.  Famous for their eponymous dak gangjeong.  Located in Sokcho, which is generally famous for seafood, but also as the birthplace of dak gangjeong.

For a limited time, the restaurant is operating a pop-up stand in E-Mart.
Not a big fan of dak gangjeong in its glazed form, I was happy to discover that the stand was offering the chicken as is, without the sweet/sticky glaze.  Initially got a handful to munch on while grocery shopping, but it was so good that I went back and bought a full box for dinner.

The chicken was awesome.  Delicately crispy.  Just the right amount of seasoning.  Perhaps the best boneless fried chicken ever.

The potato gratin was a disaster – aside from the burnt butter on the edges of the casserole.
