BREAKING NEWS: McDonald’s has finally come to its senses and brought the Filet-O-Fish to Korea.

Best use of the video displays that I’ve seen yet.

The paper liner reads: “From Alaska! Filet-O-Fish!” – they’re referring to the pollack, presumably.

As if to make up for lost time, they’ve introduced both Filet-O-Fish and Double Filet-O-Fish.

To make up for lost time, I ordered the Double.

Next time, I’ll see if the single comes with a half-slice.

It was great. Warm squishy buns. Creamy tangy tartare sauce. A pair of perfectly deep-fried patties of chunky pollack – quite a mouthful of fish in every bite. A whole piece of cheese, melted from being squished between the two hot patties. I loved it.

Let’s hope it’s here to stay. A lot of other people in the food court were eating them, so the initial reception looks good. [FINGERS CROSSED.]

Then again, do I really need more reason to frequent McDonald’s?
