Saewoo Tang Myeon is a Korean food product.  Made by Nongsim.  Instant cup noodles, shrimp flavored, mild broth.  One of the classics.  Does not have a standard (boil-in-water) counterpart.

I’ve never liked it.  Bland.

My mother had stocked them.

When we first built the cabin, the adjacent creek had flowing water most of the year, but since golf courses were developed in the surrounding areas, diverting regional water sources, the creek is usually dry (class action lawsuit!).

Not quite visible at this angle, the table and chairs were set-up in the shallows, so that our legs were submerged up to our ankles.

Now, the creek flows only during monsoon season, on days following a big rainstorm.

The problem is that monsoon season is often overcast, even when not raining, so the temperatures throughout the day are typically a bit too chilly to enjoy the water.

Today was a rare day of clear skies.

IZ had Chapaghetti.

While doing yard work under the blistering July sun, we took breaks by dipping into the deliciously cold stream.

IZ mowing the lawn for the first time in his life.
