Bas Burger is an American restaurant chain.  Specializes in burgers.  Currently 16 locations, including 1 in Seongsu.

Located 499 meters from the office.

Our planned lunch destination was packed, so we wandered around, ending up at Bas Burger.  At the time, I was unaware that it’s a chain; otherwise, I would’ve gone elsewhere.

The chicken burger was okay.  The patty was a whole chicken thigh, battered and deep-fried, juicy and tasty.  However, it was a bit too thick, making the sandwich feel heavy overall.  Beyond a thin leaf of lettuce and a few pickle slices, the burger needed more freshness/tanginess (e.g., fresh onion or tomato) to counterbalance the overwhelming fat/protein of the chicken.  I didn’t finish the last bite.

Potato chips (2.0): home-made, on the house, self-service – a bit burnt but nice.
