Same ingredients as before (see 14.247 Bistrodogs in Minibuns with Sauerkraut & Mustard), but the sausages were cut in half length-wise then pan-grilled. The juices of the exposed inner meat facilitated a much better Maillard reaction, enhancing texture and flavor. I shall always do it like this, henceforth.
