With the explosion in popularity of highballs across Korea – usually made with whisky but also other spirits, such as tequila (see for example 15.012 Shrimp Tacos) – local booze producers are trying to cash in with various canned options.

Bubble Whisky Manhattan (0.5): like Dr Pepper, with licorice juice, plus a dash of worcestershire sauce.
Bubble Whisky Whisky Cooler (0.5): like Orange Gatorade, with garlic extract, plus a dash of concentrated chicken stock.

Initial results have been shockingly disappointing (see for example 14.251 Tong Dak).  Impossible to believe that the products were formulated, manufactured, and distributed for sale – presumably, somebody at each step tried them out and approved the process to move forward, like the head of merchandising at GS25 (the convenience store chain) would’ve had to taste Bubble Whisky Manhattan and said, “Yeah, this is good, our customers will like it, place an order for 10,000 units.”
