At KIS to support Jessica Kim’s final author visit (see most recently 15.095 Ssal Eomuk + (Cup) Ddeokbokki).

By coincidence, DJ was playing in a badminton tournament that day, so I got a chance to see him in action for the first time.

So long as I was there, I decided to have a late lunch in the cafeteria. Unlike last time, when we ate from the teacher/staff buffet, which offers the same food but can be mixed and matched to personal preference (see generally 14.127 Bibimbap & More), the only thing available was the last of the “Western” option: American-Chinese-style orange chicken with fried rice. It was not good – both the chicken and rice were cold, mushy, greasy. Which was disappointing because I have fond memories of the food there, at least the Korean items, hot off the buffet.
