Smashburger Tacos

Inspired by a video from Meat Church (see Brisket Smashburger Tacos), part of my on-going exploration of the smashburger (see most recently 15.135 Oklahoma Onion Smashburgers), with leftover beef from a recent roast (see 15.152 Roast Chuck Eye Roll Au Jus).

It was okay. With shredded lettuce + pickle + processed cheese + burger sauce (mayo + mustard), the flavors leaned predominantly towards burger, rather than taco – shoulda used Tex-Mex condiments, like pico de gallo + sour cream + guacamole. The tortillas didn’t contribute much either way, but could work as a viable substitute if buns aren’t available. Will make this again, more Tex-Mex next time.
