While I’ve made egg drop soup countless times before, though featured only once in GMTD history (see 10.237 Egg Drop Soup), it was always the traditional kind, with thin broth and nothing beyond egg.

This time, I prepared it in the American-Chinese way, entirely improvised, with corn-starch to thicken the broth and additional ingredients to make it more substantial, including minced shrimp + peas + garlic + ginger.

It was awesome.

Can’t wait to try variations on the theme.
