A new item from Costco, the shrimp cocktail was quite good.  Pleasantly rough surface texture and sweet shrimpy flavor, suggesting shell-on/fresh shrimp (as opposed to frozen/peeled shrimp, which tend to be smooth and flavorless).  Beyond a stand-alone dish, the shrimp could also be used as a component in a more elaborate applicate (e.g., po’ boys).

To the cocktail sauce, I added a dab of The Last Dab, then another when the first didn’t seem enough, but soon regretted the second dab, which ultimately made the sauce way too spicy.
