Taekine Jogae Jeongol (택이네 조개전골) is a Korean restaurant. Specializes in seafood, especially their eponymous jogae (clam) jeongol (hotpot). Part of a franchise chain (of course it is), with a million branches across the country.
After eating beef for dinner 4 days in a row, I insisted on seafood for dinner. W found this place on her mobile app.
After ordering 4 portions, DZ refused to wake up when the food arrived and IZ suddenly came down with a stomach ache, so we had the whole thing to ourselves. Never been so stuffed eating nothing but clams. The package came with kalguksu, to be cooked in the leftover broth, but we didn’t get to it.
The food was excellent. Generous portions. Pristinely fresh. Good variety. Will definitely order again.
