Intended to be an intimate family dinner featuring a bouillabaise of choice fresh seafood that I had bought at the supermarket earlier in the day – including crab + clams + squid + shrimp + cod – DJ suddenly brought home 2 friends and asked if we had enough food to feed them.  So I brought out every bit of frozen seafood from the fridge, nearly doubling the portion, necessitating to cook items in batches then bring them all together in the biggest vessel that I own, and changing the dish to a maeun tang, which could then be served with rice in case they were still hungry.

Turned out fine.
